I am fed up with the socialists err Democrats...

Less than 24 hours after the bridege collpase in Minneapolis, the liberal socialists were already politicizing it and using as an excuse to raise the state and federal gas tax, then Commondant Coleman (St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman) and Comrade Rybak (Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak) used it as excuse for more pork-barrel projects like BLIGHT rail which is a government funded money pit, Local Government Aid, and other wastes of tax payer funds. I will rag on Local Government Aid in a little while, but back to the point I wish they would have waited until the last of the victims were recovered, but no the libs had to point the finger of blame at President George W. Bush, Governor Tim Pawlenty, Lieutenant Governor /MNDOT Commissioner Carol Molnau as being to blame for the bridge collapsing. The 35w bridge was built in 1967, and there certanly has been a few democrat governors in that 40 years from when the bridge was opened until it collapsed. Pawlenty's tax cuts have been a financial boom for the state, and has lead to increased revenues for the government, but they are always looking for an excuse to raise taxes to force us into a socialist government run state.

Local Government aid is basically robbing residents in St. Peter to pay for St. Paul's insane spending like giving free cable tv to all residents and other wastes of tax payer funds.

If the tax cuts have been such a boom to the state's coffers why not lower the gas tax to generate more revenue to fix bridges?
