I am fed up with the socialists err Democrats...

Less than 24 hours after the bridege collpase in Minneapolis, the liberal socialists were already politicizing it and using as an excuse to raise the state and federal gas tax, then Commondant Coleman (St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman) and Comrade Rybak (Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak) used it as excuse for more pork-barrel projects like BLIGHT rail which is a government funded money pit, Local Government Aid, and other wastes of tax payer funds. I will rag on Local Government Aid in a little while, but back to the point I wish they would have waited until the last of the victims were recovered, but no the libs had to point the finger of blame at President George W. Bush, Governor Tim Pawlenty, Lieutenant Governor /MNDOT Commissioner Carol Molnau as being to blame for the bridge collapsing. The 35w bridge was built in 1967, and there certanly has been a few democrat governors in that 40 years from when the bridge was opened until it collapsed. Pawlenty's tax cuts have been a financial boom for the state, and has lead to increased revenues for the government, but they are always looking for an excuse to raise taxes to force us into a socialist government run state.

Local Government aid is basically robbing residents in St. Peter to pay for St. Paul's insane spending like giving free cable tv to all residents and other wastes of tax payer funds.

If the tax cuts have been such a boom to the state's coffers why not lower the gas tax to generate more revenue to fix bridges?

I wish....

I wish there was someone in the Republican party who had the cahones to say : "In light of the recent comments by Harry Reid stating that "the war is lost" and the recent comments by Jack Murtha stating that "he has lost all trust in our military", I am appointing a special prosecutor to investigate the treasonous actions of Mr. Reid and Mr. Murtha"

This person would brave to be strong willed and not give two hoots in hell what the drive-by media says, and not give two hoots in hell about the attacks that will surely come from the likes of the Daily Kos and Moveon.org. In my mind the most likely candidates for an offensive like this are Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, and Michael Savage. The only problem is none of them are elected officials, so they won't carry nearly as much weight as some one like President Bush would, but I think he isn't interested in making any waves of the sort. So unless someone in the house or senate all of sudden grows a back bone and a pair, I don't see this happening unfortunately...

I am sick of Republicans going along with the Democrats to get along, I wish they would have the backbone to make waves..

While I know it takes both a left and a right wing for the Eagle that is American democracy to fly..

It seems as if the left wing is a bit like Barry Bonds. The left wing seems to be roided up trying to hold onto the power they think they are entitled to have. For those non-baseball fans out there, Barry Bonds early in his career with Pittsburgh was a talented player who was an average hitter and was scrawny average hitter then all of a sudden he starts to get thicker and thicker and then in 2001 he looks like the incredible hulk and hits 73 home runs, and it is alleged that he took steroids and that contributed to his all of a sudden power surge.

The way the left is so angry and vitriolic against the Global War on Terror it would seem as if they are experienceing roid range.

Valerie Plame CHIRADE err Trial..

If any further proof was needed that this Valerie Plame name leak case were just a chirade for the democrats to riase more funds from the owner of the Democratic Part, the master puppetteer George Soros. During the broadcast of the chirade err trial, a woman stood up directly behind Ms. Plame wearing a pink shirt saying "impeach Bush now". I am convinced that Schumer and the other Democrats are using this chirade to riase more funds from their nutroots base. After all if Plame were covert why would she have appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair??????

This also proves that there is a Bush Derangement Syndrome pandemic in Washington, D.C.
